Holistic and Stimulating Education Center for Infants through Pre-K

Ms. Kimmy and Mr. Dave, created the concept for ABC Early Childhood Learning Center in 2004, after Kimmy spent her career working in Early Childhood Education and Mr. Dave in the Printing Industry for 27 years. We are parents ourselves, and believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. We know that providing a safe and fun environment allows children to explore and grow. At ABC Early Childhood Learning Center, we foster age appropriate development and learning experiences for infants through preschoolers. For example, reading, singing, and talking to children helps them develop communication skills. Our Colerain Dry Ridge Childcare also believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem and confidence. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning of all kinds!

At ABC Early Childhood Learning Center, we make sure that every child is involved in stimulating activities everyday. And of course, Children learn best when they are having fun! Colerain Dry Ridge Childcare understand that parents are busy. We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. That's why we strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the peace of mind that their children are in a safe environment and, in good hands.

All teachers at ABC must pass a rigorous pre-employment background check and fingerprinting process. We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and are a Four-Star Ohio Step up to Quality Center. Our lead Pre-School Teachers all have Education degree's and most have a teaching license from the Ohio Department of Education. All employees are required to attend 10 to 15 hours of specialized training in early child development every year. Our Philosophy Statement

The Philosophy of our Early Childhood Education Program is based on the principles of developmentally appropriate practices. We understand that every child comes from different social and cultural environments in which they live, learn, and thrive.

Our curriculum is carefully crafted to support the individual differences, strengths, experiences, and stages of development in every child along with the Academic Content Standards issued by the Ohio Department of Education. We follow “The Creative Curriculum,” which believes children learn and understand the world the best through play and experimenting. We believe that children develop and learn best in the context of a community in which they are safe and valued, their physical needs are met, and they feel psychologically secure.

Our goal is for every child to gain a sense of self-worth and feel that they hold a valuable place in our community. That is why it is necessary for there to be a connection between home and school. We believe that every child develops emotionally, cognitively, and physically, at their own pace. Every child is a unique individual with wonderful gifts to offer. The duty of our educated and highly trained staff is to find these hidden gifts and talents in every child and enhance them through our stimulating curriculum.
